We took a high speed 2 hours north from Madrid to Leon. The train was really nice, we all loved the ride, although we about missed it arriving 1 minute before departure. 42€ for the ride.
We loved our day in Leon. It’s still fairly big but nothing like Madrid. It was beautiful. We did a lot of shopping for our walking, getting hats and extra gear.
The cathedral there was amazing.
Checked out some parks, a picnic lunch, and cooked pizzas at hostel. Early night in as we were ready to start the Camino.
